Rare Naja Salto enamel on sterling ring. Naja Salto was born in 1945, she is primarily known as a weaver in Denmark. She attended the Craft School in Copenhagen in the mid 1960s. I have seen 2 rings for Jensen done by Ms. Salto. They are not easily found and have commanded high auction prices. We feel this ring is from the 1980s, as she did an enameled spoon for Anton Michelsen in 1985.
Overall condition is very good. It has been worn, but the enamel appears to be intact.
The colors are brilliant and beautiful: Yellow, Orange, Blue and Red.
