A particularly beautiful example of the bakelite sabre pin. Nicely accented with brass and carving. Measures 4 1/4" long. Pinback is rivited with a lock closure. A version of this pin is shown on page 37 of The Bakelite Jewelry Book by Davidov & Dawes. Circa 1940s.
