Kalo  & Chicago Silver
Kalo and other Chicago Silver Companies Arts & Crafts Items.

Kalo was founded in 1900 in Chicago. In it's prolific 70 year history, Kalo produced holloware, flatware, and jewelry. Kalo was a leader of the Arts & Crafts movement. The orginal company was comprised of 6 women, all graduates of the Art Institute. The company name is taked from the Greek word, "to make beautiful". The chicagosilver.com website is a wonderful resource for Kalo information.

Decotini is proud to be one of the lenders for the spectacular exhibit "Maker and Muse" at the Driehaus Museum in Chicago.  We have 5 Kalo objects, and one brooch from the Marshall Field Silver Shop, in this remarkable display of incredible jewelry and objects.  Some of the items are noted in the listing, and they will be availabe for purchase in January of 2016, when the exhibit has ended.
