A rare bakelite pin. Carved, resin washed (green over yellow) bakelite "leaves". 7 yellow bakelite bananas are in the bunch. Rivied pin-back. Plastic strings have lost most of their coating, which unfortunatly is normal after some 60 years. Howeve, the bananas are still securely attached to the strings. Could be restored professionally, if desired. There is also paint loss on the details of the banana. We still think it's charming and a great addition to a serious collection. 2.5" wide by 3" long.
