Arriving closer to the end of the bakelite era, cuff bracelets are fun and easy to wear. We are fond of these string bracelets. A niche was carved into the center, then various types of string or wire was wrapped into the low area. No glue is used, it is secured inside the back of the bracelet.
This mid-century look is very modernist and clean and it still looks fabulous today.
Rich Cream with purple, orange & pink silk or rayon string. Oval diameter is 2 1/2", with the opening about 1 3/4".
Remember to slide it on sideways into the fleshy part of your lower arm, away from the delicate veins at the wrist. Then slide down into place.
