Chrome, brass, enamel and glass come together in this wonderful necklace. Please see the close up to get an understanding of the construction of this item. Very beautifully executed. The blue center pieces are poured glass. The green is enameled. The structural pins holding everything together appear to be brass. Condition: Enamel is very good, as is the glass. Some of the chromium plating has worn off in places, revealing a nice brass color.
The 15" chain is articulated and easy to wear. Unmarked, it looks very much like it could be a Jakob Bengel piece. Of course, since most of the Bengels are unmarked, we cannot say for certain.
