This is a beautiful necklace by the (Harry S Bick) Bickson Jewelry Company, NYC. The hallmark dates to the 1940s. This jewelry company produced high end fashion jewelry. It was sold in fine department and jewelry stores. The styling is moderne, reminiscent of Industrial and Mexican designs of the era.
Necklace marked "Sterling" and "HSB". Clasp also marked "sterling". A similar design shown on page 187 of "Art Deco Jewelry" (the Jakob Bengel Book). The balls are flat on the back, so the necklace lays smoothly on the neck.
