A rare and exciting example of the earliest Los Castillo hallmark, simply "980 Los Castillo TAXCO". No Design number. An example of this hallmark can be seen in the book "Mexican Silver 3rd Edition" on page 82. The spring clip has a patent number which dates to 1933. The clip itself is lovely in design and patina. 2" long by 1.5" wide.
