Interesting conjoined or connected pins, circa 1940s. Can be worn individually as well. I believe this is part of a "convertible necklace set", which may have had another piece at one time. Good news is that it is totally functional on it's own. Please see page 168 of Mexican Silver 3rd Edition for a Margot piece designed very similarly. Each one measures 4" long.
