Here is the iconic "EGG" Pendant from the one time Scandinavian clothing designer Astrid Fog. (1911-1993). This was created around 1969, which is when Ms. Fog signed on as an artist for the Jensen Smithery.

Her designs are very clean, bold, and true to the  modernist asthetic.  Eye-catching, and easy to wear, this necklace is fabulous.

There is no latch, it is worn by simply putting it over your head.

The chain measures 25", and has oversized long links.  The egg measures approx. 2" long. Lovely.
