It is an honor to be able to present this incredible museum quality very early piece from the Georg Jensen Smithy in Denmark.  This is design #2, a gorgeous Arts & Crafts design of very stylized leaves and berries, with a beautiful moonstone set in each center.

The maker mark indicates production 1910-1925.  However the use of the silver content mark, 830, would narrow it down to the earlier part of the time line.

An early Georg Jensen catalog shows that their necklaces were available in "lengths from 15.5 inches to 32 inches". These longer pieces are scarce and very seldom come on the market.  There are 22 links, measuring approx. 32".  There is no clasp, as it easily fits over the head. 

There is a name inscribed on one of the links, in a beautiful old font.  The woman belonged to a wealthy Chicago area family, I will provide the details upon purchase.
