This is a beautiful compact circa 1940s. I comes with it's original felt bag and box, both labeled with Georg Jensen Fifth Avenue Store in NYC. However, the compact does NOT have a Jensen maker's mark. It does have an unknown hallmark, and it is also marked STERLING. It certainly has the fine quality and design of a Jensen item.
The condition of the compact is very nice. The felt bag and box have some wear due to age.
