2" Wide
Marked Rebajes
Circa 1940s
This cuff has the aluminum/silver metal interior. We have heard various accounts as to why this was used on some braceletls. Some say it was due to lack of metals during WWII, and others say it was sometimes done to eliminate the greening of the skin that occurs with copper jewelry.
Condition is very nice, however there is some blotchy copper on the silver interior.
We cleaned this piece when we received it.
*Regarding cleaning copper - if we get something that has a nice even patina, we don't touch it. If the item has green spots, or an uneven patina we clean and clean it down to the pink with copper cleaners. We then let the patina reform over time.
