I believe this to be an earlier piece due to the more primative construction method used. This pin was cut from a sheet of copper, then twisted and bent to create this graceful result.
The surface has some discoloration / uneven patina, but we love it as is. Not cleaned* by us.
*Regarding cleaning copper - if we get something that has a nice even patina, we don't touch it. If the item has green spots, or an uneven patina we clean and clean it down to the pink with copper cleaners. We then let the patina reform over time.
