Amazing, rare, and unusual bakelite item, we are calling it a Chalice. It could also be called a loving cup, perhaps.
The body is a beautiful mottled green bakelite, which is in excellent condition. It is lined with sterling silver and is marked STERLING on the bottom.
We know nothing about this curiosity, other than when presented with the opportunity to purchase it several years ago, we could not resist.
It weighs in at three and one quarter POUNDS . Measurements: 7.75" high; 5" across at the top.
