Here is an unusual pair of Stardust Bakelite and metal Buttons. To create a red color, the stardust clear bakelite was under painted. Since all of the stardust was clear, this was the way to give color to items. We have encountered this technique a few times.
We are unsure as to the use of these particular buttons. The back has 3 shank holes for fastening to garment.
Back of each is marked "GOLDMAN".
