Here is a great initial pin bearing a lower case LA.
Great for a cute holiday pin....as in "Fa la la la la"....
If you love Los Angeles, here is a great way to display it.
Bill Tendler was a 60/70s Greenwich Village jewelry maker on McDougal Street. Many of the jewelers created these initial pins and cufflinks. I have seen them by Paul Lobel, Frances Boothby, and others. I am guessing one would enter the shop and select the jewelery and the letters, and it was put together while you waited. It would be a great memento of the shopping trip.
This is marked "STERLING TENDLER".
Measures 1.5" in diameter.
Circa 1960s / NYC, USA
