Engraved message: [font used is very formal.  It is engraved around the top edge of the cup] "Dec 25, 1919 HMW 5th From Uncle Dean and Aunt Gertie"

Marks: STERLING HANDWROUGHT at THE KALO SHOPS CHICAGO AND NEW YORK [design number] 5069.  This is a hard to find mark, as the New York shop was only in operation for 4 years (1912-1916).

Condition:
Overall very good.  There are a few small indentations from use / wear. I believed it was used and enjoyed, however it was very well taken care of.  Nothing that detracts from this lovely old cup. 

This was hand hammered, you can see the beat marks.  It has a very nice weight and is a worthy keepsake.
